Shake Shack shakes things up in Bridgewater

BRIDGEWATER, N.J. — Shake Shack, the popular eatery founded in New York City, is expanding its footprint in the Garden State.

The company has opened a store in Bridgewater and hired about 40 workers. The hamburger and milkshake chain is known for the long lines for its offerings. This is the first New Jersey location in the suburbs, and the first one outside of North Jersey.

It features an outdoor patio and shorter wait times than many have experienced at the Shake Shack locations in New York City.
